The web is spreading its wings

The web is trying to reach the nuke and corner of world. A recent article “Broadband in the Amazon” in EcoGeek reveals the availability of internet in a high school inside the deep Amazon. Availability of internet to schools is a must in this era as internet is the most powerful tool that can bring rich information at your fingertips with just a few clicks.  It can unfold the earth and show how vast, deep and diversified it has become.  It is easily countable what information is not available in the net than what is.  And providing an interface to the children in schools to access the internet can really be very useful.

Ironically as I am writing this post a devil inside me laughs out reminding me that I have been struggling to get a broadband connection at home here in Bangalore. None of the providers seem to provide service in the street where my apartment is even though it is a prime location in the city.
